Comprehensive garden and property overhaul project

This project was awarded to us via a booking on our website from a lovely customer based in Gouldavoher, Limerick. We arranged a survey of the customers residence to establish the scale and scope of the works to be completed. This property had remain untouched for over 15 years and would require a substantial amount of work to restore it to its former glory.
The garden area was severely overgrown with weeds, plants, trees and shrubs. On the first day of the project, our first task was to begin clearing a pathway so that we could transport waste to the skip we organised delivery/collection of on the customers behalf.
Once the overgrowth had been removed, a beautiful cobble lock patio area and pathway had been uncovered. After removing the copious amount of moss, weeds and detritus using both tools and our hands, the garden started to take shape!
Once we exposed the bare surface of the patio and pathway, we proceeded to power wash the entire area several times. This process brightened up the dull, stained and algae-covered bricks which greatly enhanced the overall garden. The client asked us not to touch his significant stockpile of firewood to the left hand side of the garden. We therefore left this area alone! Instead, we cleaned the area around it to allow for easy access.
After finessing the final touches needed to make the clients garden area presentable and neat, the end result is very satisfying! All in all, the rear garden overhaul took us 2.5 days to complete.
Next up, the front garden/driveway area! While this area of the clients property was nowhere near as demanding as the back garden, we had our work cut out!
The client asked us to dispose of most of the old and broken pots that were scattered throughout the front driveway. We then proceeded to trim and shape the hedge, as it had overgrown quite a lot.
By trimming the hedge, we gained access to the remainder of the driveway and proceeded to do several powerwash runs to brighten up the area. We also removed all of the weeds from the brickwork along with any moss that had built up over the years.
We powerwashed the customers front fascia and gutter fronts to remove algae and dirt, along with the front windows, front door and frames to remove any splash.
This extensive project was now complete, once we were happy and the customer was happy with our work. All in all, it took 3.5 days to restore the customers property to its former glory. A large skip had been filled to the max throughout the process!
