Tree Trimming and Shaping are essential practices in maintaining the health and aesthetics of your trees. By selectively removing branches, you can improve the tree’s structure, enhance its natural shape, and promote better growth. Regular trimming helps prevent potential hazards, such as falling branches, and reduces the risk of disease by improving air circulation. Additionally, shaping a tree can add to the overall beauty of your landscape, creating a harmonious and visually pleasing environment. Whether you’re looking to encourage fruit production, increase sunlight exposure, or simply keep your garden neat and tidy, proper tree trimming and shaping can make all the difference. Remember to use the right tools and techniques!
This tree trimming and shaping project was carried out to the clients specific requirements. The client sought an egg-shaped Bay Laurel tree beside their beautiful water feature, and requested that three feet be taken off the back, sides and top. This allowed for more sunlight penetration into the garden and gave definition to the back wall area.
The client asked us to take two feet off their Japanese Laurel so as to expose the flowerbed more.
Next up, the client wanted us to take 3 feet off their Common Holly and keep its height below the top of the rear fence.
In the corner of the garden lay an awkward-to-work-with English Ivy tree. The client wanted us to add definition to the base and do a general tidy up.
A 4 foot skip was utilised throughout the entire project to remove the waste material from site. We organised the delivery and collection of this as part of our service.
An overgrown Ivy was removed in order to clean up the decking area.
The finished article in all its glory! This project was undertaken with great attention to detail and care.
At all stages we liaised with the client to ensure their requirements were met and exceeded. The client need not worry about overgrowth and out of control trees for another few years, and has ensured their garden receives ample light in all conditions. We left the grass cutting to them (as agreed) as it is the most fun part!
